LeBron James

Well, LeBron James just lost yet another NBA finals, and now the he's only 2 for 6 in the finals, there is a lot of questions about the titles he plans on bringing to Cleveland. First of all, this proves flat out that LeBron James is not the greatest player of all time. Michael Jordan took a team that would've been a 7 or 8 seed, and made them champions 6 out of 6 times. Even though LeBron brought 2 titles in 6 finals outings, the teams he's played for have a high caliber team without him. But what I'm mainly going to go over is how many more titles he will win in his career, whether its in Cleveland or some other team.

First, they will not win it next year. Kevin Love has opted out of his contract, and no one is there to replace him. Many think they'll go with Timofey Mosgov and Anderson Varajao at the 4 and 5 position. Although that will give them good size, It is not a big man lineup that will last 82 games and 4 set of best of 7 series. Plus, I already have my heart set on a Warriors repeat, this time against the Bulls.

The season after that LeBron has the option to test free agency. If he doesn't, he won't win another. By then it'll basically be him along with Varajao and Kyrie Irving. that is not enough to win it all. If he doesn't and goes into free agency, well, then he probably will. But you can't put an explanation to why or why not that far into the future. so most likely he will win no more, but have pretty good chances of winning 1 more based on what happens

Golden State Warriors

I'd like to start of my first post by congratulating the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Blackhawks for winning the NBA championship and the Stanley Cup. Although I enjoy watching hockey, this blog will mainly cover the NBA and NFL. that being said, I will also cover MLB along with NCAA basketball and NCAA Football.

Well, they did it. It took the Golden State Warriors exactly 40 years to repeat their success, but they are once again NBA champions. Unfortunately, after the 1975 NBA championship with Chris Mullin, the Warriors never one another one in that era. That leads me to my question. Can this core win more? Will they win 1 more? 2? 10? Or, will they have to wait for the next generation of Golden Sate stars to pull in their 3rd title. My guess is that they will win 1 more title before this core separates.

Truthfully, it all depends on what players do. After the 2015-2016 season, they will lose a ton of very valuable players such as David Lee or Marreese Speights. Then their are other role type players such as Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green, who was one of they main contributors throughout the playoffs. If all of those players opt out of their contract, the Warriors could have major trouble coming off the bench. In The playoffs, you NEED players who could dish in 6 points in 10 minutes coming off your bench to be a legit threat. The reason I see them still winning one more is because they will still have mostly the same core going into next season.

I think there is a lot of players who would choose to stay in a heartbeat. I understand that. I also think that players like Stephen Curry and David Lee will stay. But honestly, no team on earth (except for maybe the Yankees) can resign 5 players for 2 straight years. There are going to have to be some odd men out, and, Ultimately, Golden State's chances for winning another will plummet. I think they have a great chance to win it next year, but for now, my money's on one more title for them in this era.
