Most efficient quarterbacks

The NFL season is nearing kickoff week, and with only 7 weeks until the NFL season begins, I'm gonna break down 3 quarterbacks. List their strengths, weaknesses, where I see them going this season, and if their worth the contract their receiving.

My 1st QB breakdown will be hometown hero Tony Romo. this guy may be the most liked quarterback in the league, but is he worth his 36 million dollars he's receiving?

Tony is, in my mind, one of the best throwing quarterbacks in the league, but Dez Bryant is their only receiver I would call "elite" going into the next year. So as of this season, Dallas won't be in for a super bowl type season until they can fix that issue. So I can't see his pay being worth it as of this season.

My 2nd NFL quarterback I want to break down is Peyton Manning. Many think his age will get to him, causing Denver troubles, while other believe he still has the power to win it all. Which theory will be right? and is he worth the 15 million dollars he'll get.

through the first 10 games, he'll be stellar, maybe even superstar like. but I do think his age will get to him. I also believe that their superstar receiving core and underrated defense will lead them to be super bowl contenders. Since he is taking a reduced salary, he will be worth it.

The 3rd and last quarterback I'm gonna break down is Russell Wilson. He's coming off of 2 strait super bowl appearances, but after that interception to lose the game and change history, will he really be worth his cash, especially since he's now the highest paid player in the league.

I think absolutely. he may not be the best QB in the league ( in fact, I can name 3 QB's better), but he can be a leader. When he's on the field, the rest of the Seattle Seahawks squad seems to dominate. Plus, although Russell Isn't the best, he's still really high in the QB rankings, and with the Seahawks flawless defensive system, they really only need fifteen to twenty points a game to be a serious threat. And there is no doubt in my mind that Russell Wilson can achieve that no problem. In my mind, the Seahawks have a chance to something special this season.

If your wondering, my pick for best QB with smallest contract is Andrew Luck.

DeAndre Jordan

Free agency in the NBA always seems like it changes the league and creates very interesting storylines.

Recently, DeAndre Jordan went to test free agency, since he was sick of being LA's third wheel. He wanted to become a star and was feeling like he couldn't do so in Chris Paul and Blake Griffin's shadow. He gets and offer from Dallas, who'll give him a stunning 21 million dollars a year for four seasons. The Clippers Match that, but DeAndre announces he will join The Mavericks. Minutes before signing, he backs out and goes back to LA to continue playing with the Clippers. Since then, he hasn't said a word to their owner, Mark Cuban, or the Mavericks small forward and personal friend, Chandler Parsons.

If you know who Mark Cuban is, you know this will not sit well. Mark gets down to business with Dallas. He is a marketing genius, and seems to always win players and sign big guys. When someone steps out of line, he doesn't let it happen. Once Mark heard the news, and gave his opinions in a harsh way.

"What he did was disrespectful, dishonest, and very unprofessional," Cuban said, "having a change of heart is okay, but when you back out on your word and then not even tell me, your being dishonest and unprofessional."

Both of these men are very talented at what they do. DeAndre Jordan is a premiere bigmen who brings a ton to the table. Mark Cuban is one of the best owners in the game,as he has won an NBA championship. But both are being immature and unprofessional, but in my mind Jordan is the bad guy in this situation. Although Mark was harsh in that press conference, he only said exactly what had happened. DeAndre backs out on a promise he made with him, then didn't talk to him for over a week. Now Mark is in a place where he can't go after another center, so he ends up with an unfinished team. If Jordan were to have expressed his feelings earlier, Mark probably wouldn't be so mad. Plus, Jordan went on and on about how he wants to be the center of attention. He could've been that guy with Dallas. But instead he passes that up for a replica contract with a team that he'll be the 3 or even 4 guy in the rotation. He needs to show some professionalism and learn to stay away from drama. Mark did play a part, but Jordan started the fire.

NFC East Predictions

As the NFL draft and free agency are coming to an end shortly, I thought it would be a good time to get some NFL predictions going. I'm going to start with the NFC east, and work my way around the NFL.

The first NFC east team I want to mention is the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately for them, I can't see them making the playoffs. Do they have a chance? Yes. But in my mind, they had a step-back season and will struggle now that they don't have all the pieces. I think it was a bad idea to trade Leshan McCoy for Kiko Alonso. Despite the respect I have for Kiko, McCoy is a better option if you could choose between the two.

Plus, picking up Tim Tebow was not a smart plan. I knew they were gonna try to trade him along with Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez for the Titans #2 overall pick from Oregon, Marcus Mariota. But since Tennessee didn't go for it, they were hung out to dry. With 3 mediocre QB's and no running back, Phili is in for a rough season.

The other NFC east team worth mentioning is the Dallas Cowboys (who, by the way, have the WORST logo in sports history. Except the Red Sox). The Dallas Cowboys WILL make the playoffs. Are they Super Bowl contenders? No. Are they a good team? No. But they'll at least do better than the other contenders. The Redskins are in full rebuild after RGIII became a failure. And Eli Manning is no longer n the age where he can be a legit and effective quarterback. Without that boost, the Giants will not be successful. They are not playoff worthy, but thanks to New York and Washington, they should come out on top.

Jahlil or Karl?

Well, the NBA draft s over and the NBA has given these new draftees a home for next winter. My projections were a little off, and I was really shocked to see D'angelo Russell be picked before Jahlil Okafor. Despite Karl Anthony-Towns being picked before Jahlil, there are still a lot of questions about who will be better in the time to come.

First, let's talk about Jahlil Okafor. We all know for a fact that where you get drafted has a very indirect correlation with how far you go in the NBA. It's not rare at all to see late first rounders go further than top five prospects. So where these two got drafted will have no effect on who I think has more potential.

Jahlil has a body built to be a professional big man. He has a great fadeaway hook shot that is too hard to block. Since he hits that shot next to every time, defenders are forced to foul. If he could maximize his chances at the free throw line, he could be a legit threat in this league. Still though, he does struggle in a few parts of his game. He's not the greatest rebounder, and struggles when going up against the bigger defender. Given that he's only 6'10", this could be a major problem when facing guys like Marc Gasol or even role players like Alex Len.
Now, lets analyze Karl Anthony-Towns. I feel like he doesn't exactly get to the rack and score a whole lot, but he can definitely fill a post guy role if needed. He is a much better defender than what people give him credit for, and is much stronger in the paint than Okafor. That being said, he struggled against Frank Kaminsky during march madness, so that kind of makes me wonder about how far he can go in this league.

I honestly think both of these players can be stars one day with the right training. My pick would have to be Karl Anthony-Towns. I feel like he is a much better defender in the post and can rebound more efficiently. In today's league, you need players who can fill the role of a post rebounder and elite scorer, which is exactly what Karl provides, and what Jahlil struggles with.

Before I end this, let me make an interesting point. These last two draft classes are arguably the best two draft classes in history. Both producing multiple stars. And the Minnesota Timberwolves have both of the number one picks (ya, I know, scary). Andrew Wiggins WILL pan out and be a star. We don't know about Karl, but if they can both maximize their projected potential and stay with Minnesota, they'll be a legit threat in this league in years to come.
